I've read all the Forgotten Realms books and most of the Dragonlance ones and somehow I missed this one. It's bought it in nov of 2012, and it wasn't worth the wait.The book is three different McGuffins. It is a dark fantasy that mentions baby killing, and assault on women, yet the main character is a 14 year old. It has lines that would not get published today:[Kelyrn remembered the hook-nosed female he had assigned to the Faithguards."As a reward, you two shall have first use of the new supplicant..." ]Then there are the gaping plot holes like how a person can hold some at knife point while marching with other people for most of a day. Or that there are two undefeatable wizards, who are somehow the same mage from different time-line, yet they are equally powerful.It was nice to return to Kyrnn and Kenders but the novel was such so weak, it was barely better than fan fiction.
